i was once on a bus with brad pitt. we had both taken the 1 a.m. greyhound out of jacksonville, destination, dollywood. at least, i was. i am not sure where he was headed. and i am not the sort to pry or sneak a peak at another person's ticket. i mean, that's rude. i might have grown up poor but manners never cost a cent. that's what my mama always said. though it seemed like we'd have had more money if the vodka collins she was always having me mix up for her didn't cost a cent. still, a woman needs her tonics and who am i to judge what helps us all get along? so i was not the least bit judgemental (or surprised) to see brad nipping off in the back to chat up some trashy little girl who i am sure made her living on the portable street corner of the bus toilet. but still, lord knows what her story may be and god bless brad pitt for needing the company of sluts to make it through the day. i have manners, if nothing else. what all they might have done in that cramped and filthy space only the two of them, god, and the national enquirer may ever know. i am not one to pry. and i have a vodka collins on the way. praise the lord and pass the ammunition.
