Well, let's see. Pic of a guy playing with himself, people in their underwear in public, and an ugly man in a woman's dress. Fodder for true respect.

To quote an article from the AJC: "With the festival in it's 37th year, some participants worry that Pride has become more about partying and less about making a statement. 'There's a lot of education needed, both for the gay community and the straight community', said John Paul Griffin, 30, of Atlanta. 'Is it a a protest or a party? I don't even think we know the answer to that,' said Robert Bryant, 36."

and BTW--- the "ugly guy in a woman's dress is a friend of mine, and I think he's very attractive (maybe more attractive in men's clothes, though)... the guy "playing with himself" is a straight man, a stripper from "Swinging Richards" -- and "the people in their underwear in public" are actually members of the gay swim team "Rainbow Trouts"- and that's not underwear, it's Speedos. A few minutes after this picture was taken, these two joined their team on a float.

Relax, they were having fun! Leave it to a straight guy to grab himself. Beides, Pride is a about camp.
A better soapbox for a complaint would be Phelps and his "God Hates" campaign.
