BEST BITE:

Fresh baked cookies at Flying Biscuit

If the bakery shelves at Flying Biscuit Cafe in Candler Park (yes, the original) are bare of peanut butter cookies, there's likely to be a riot among the locals. These cookies defy nature —- chewy on the inside, crisp at the edges and chock-full of large bits and pieces of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. OK, so calm down: There's always an oatmeal raisin waiting in the wings. Or chocolate chip. The cookies here (all of 'em) are as big as Moon Pies, baked fresh and will remind you that most of life's stickier issues can be erased with a glass of milk and a big bite of something sweet.
