I personally find that picture offensive and will bet it came from somewhere like the Inquirer -- if it's her at all. The write-up is pretty offensive too.

I'm sorry you don't get the joke/irony.... I still think it's pretty damn funny, and sad at the same time. The Diva has turned into a crackhead (not funny), but she recorded songs with the lyrics "They can't take away my dignity" (pre-Bobby), and "They be taking my dignity" (post Bobby)... She's run the gammit from classy to trashy. It's not funny- it's sad.... but I get a little laugh out of the irony.

Actually, I agree with Bri. I saw her on an episode of Boston public and all I could think was "When did Whitney turn into a really bad Dianah Ross impersonator with a Diahann Carroll wannabe look going on?" In that picture, she looks like an ill Whoopi Goldberg.
Going down that Billy Holiday path if ya ask me.
