Wow! I Never Knew!
The first Waffle House restaurant opened on Labor Day in 1955 in Decatur, GA, just down the street from the original Flying Biscuit!
Over the period of 52 years, they have opened almost 1500 locations! May we be so lucky!

We aren't actually in Decatur-- our mailing address is Atlanta. But, the original FB is in DeKalb County, and the original WH is within spitting distance- just on the other side of the MARTA tracks!
